Lid Repair

Laser cutter lid not closing properly, no longer remains up on its own.
Hinge Repair
One of the nuts was missing from the left hinge, which was likely why the lid wasn't closing properly. Several of the nuts on the right hand side were loose as well.
Replaced all regular hex nuts with locking nuts. (M6 / 10 mm socket)
Gas Spring
The label was pretty worn, but the gas springs appear to be:
Xinda QD16-295*115*300 N
(The website, http://www.xdgas-spring.com, is , uh, no longer valid. And NSFW.)
This corresponds to 295 mm extended length, 115 mm stroke length, and 300 N extension force. The compressed length is 185 mm. It has an 18 mm cylinder and an 8 mm rod. One end has a ball joint and one end has a metal eyelet.
Emailed Red Sail sales about a replacement. McMaster-Carr doesn't have a straight up equivalent.
