Requesting Training

Some tools require mandatory training before use because they involve higher risks, specialized techniques, or proper setup to operate safely and effectively. Training ensures you not only protect yourself and others, but also get the best results from the equipment. It helps keep the space safe, tools in good condition, and your projects successful.

Below is the list of commonly used tools that require training and how to request it. This is not an exhaustive list.

We understand that individual members may have different levels of experience and/or comfort when working with tools so please do not hesitate to ask for help or a demo even if you have completed the required training. When in doubt, always check on slack or talk.
