 +## Dust management
 +
+Herbie Hoover has been setup to automatically turn on when ever the table saw or the Jointer/Planer is turned on.  Future improvements to the woodshop would plumb in the router table, chop saw, bandsaw and lathe into the dust collection system as well.
 +
+The main barrel beneath herbie should checked both before and after use to ensure there is enough space in the dust collector can adequately pull sawdust in.  If the barrel is too full there will be a loss of suction at the tool and a bigger mess to clean up.  Garbage bags for the barrel are typically kept underneath the main workbench or underneath dusty the CNC.
 +
+There are also two bags at the rear of herbie that can also fill up.  These bags collect the fine saw dust and should be emptied out regularly.  These are hard to get to and should be checked every time the main barrel is emptied.  If they're full they should be emptied as well.  When these rear bags are full the filters should be cleared as well.  Above the machine there are two cranks that need to be rotated that move some paddles inside the filters knocking sawdust from the pleats of the filter.
