The cutting table in the crafting are is a large table with a self-healing surface. The table has cubbies underneath for tool storage, and the table itself opens up to reveal larger storage inside. Be careful, the table lid is very heavy to lift.

====== Using the cutting table ======
 
 Only use cutting implements intended for a self-healing cutting mat. In practise, this means **rotary cutters only**! Other cutters, such as box cutters and exacto knives will gouges the surface, causing runs in fine fabrics.

If you need to use an exacto knife, we have small cutting boards available under the table.
 
 Please keep the surface of the cutting table clean and free of any liquids or other materials which could stain or otherwise compromise delicate fabrics.
