-====== VHS MAME Cabinet ======

-**Description**
-In case you haven't noticed, there's a full sized four player arcade game in the corner at the hackspace.  The idea is to convert this into a four player MAME system.  The cabinet is

-You got silk screen in my MAME Cabinet!  No, you got MAME Cabinet in my silk screen!
-
-The current plan is to use the available space in the bottom of the MAME cabinet as a light proof box in which we can develop silk screens.  Lacking a complete knowledge of the silk screen process, I've enlisted Emily for some pointers.  These are the things we need to do to make this happen:
-
-  * <del>Wire the cabinet so all the components get power when the cabinet switch is turned on</del> Thanks Stephen Young!!
-  * <del>Remove the coin box from the cabinet</del>
-  * <del>Create a space in the upper cabinet for the computer and other electronics</del>
-  * <del>Move the electronics to the top</del>
-  * Build a box suitable for storing the screens 29" wide X 26" high X 24 3/4" deep (they must be stored horizontally)
-  * Install said box in the cabinet
-
-
-**Next Steps**
-
-Must Haves:
-  * Fishboy will set up a PC running Linux, MAME, and Wahcade as the front end.  It will power on as soon at the cabinet switch is turned on
-  * Add three additional buttons to all players so we can get some sweet Street Fighter action going on.  Derek mentioned that he could use his CNC to cut some more plexi to replace the one on there already.
-  * Install 4 coin buttons.  They will be mounted in Plexi (11cm x 22cm) and put in the original coin slots.
-  * Install some sort of skirting around the door for the back (for aesthetics) and the same skirting around the door for the silk screen boxes (to ensure it's light proof)
-
-Nice to Haves:
-  * Ipac 4 to clean up the wiring and move it into the controller box
-  * Add the ability to use four wireless controllers?
-  * Add a projector in the top marquee area?
-  * Some sort of haptic feedback ??
-  * Audio out to 5.1?
-  * Coat of paint ??
-  * articulating beer holders ??
-
-
-**Parts List**
-
-  - Black piano hinges
-  - 12 Additional buttons (which will give us a total of 6 per player)
-  - killer graphics (vinyl?)
-  - control panel with new plexi that would allow for better layout of controls
-  - Ipac 4
-  - 4 coin buttons
